Piero Lissoni is a true legend in the word of design and architecture. He is the mastermind behind many of the Italian lines that we carry here at Casa Design such as Knoll, Living Divani, Matteo Grassi, and Porro. His creations are absolutely unique and beautiful, and they have produced quite a portfolio for him.

Piero studied architecture at the Politecnico di Milano and began collaborating with various furniture manufacturers as both a designer and as an art director in 1985. Along with the many designs Piero has created for the furniture manufacturers he has worked with, he has also designed many showrooms, homes, and hotels around the world! His architectural projects include a private residence in Monza, apartments and villas in Milan and Tuscany, the Mamilla Hotel in Jerusalem, a re-design of the headquarters of Living Divani in Anzano del Parco, and the renovation of public areas in the Monaco & Grand Canal Hotel.

We were thrilled to see Piero featured on Dwell recently. The piece featured a conversation in which Piero shared a bit about himself, such as what aids him in the creative process, where he likes to work, who his hero is, and more! We absolutely loved his answer to what a “Eureka!” moment would be. He said “To enjoy a fantastic cappuccino in the morning with a very good croissant. This can help the creative process a lot.”
