We are big fans of furnishings from Casamania here at Casa Design and we absolutely love the newest design from Alain Gilles for Casamania – the Container sideboard.

This storage unit is anything but ordinary. It is a sideboard that has been split into different elements, or containers. As the design blog Design Addict describes it, the Container sideboard is “a research on deconstruction and reconstruction. As if a ‘standard’ sideboard with its different storage functionalities had been split into various elements just to be reconstructed in a different, uneven manner.”

Another thing to love about the Container sideboard is that it can be used in a variety of manners since multiple furniture pieces can be created from the original elements of this piece. The Container sideboard can be used as a sideboard, but also as a dresser, a media storage cabinet, or even a television stand since its design is versatile enough to be used in any room in the home.
