Living Divani to Reveal Two Collections at the Salone del Mobile This Month
In just a few weeks we’ll be off to Milan for the Salone del Mobile furniture fair and with each day that passes our excitement is increasing as we learn more about all that we will experience while there. A few weeks ago, we took a look at some of the new products we will get to see while at the fair, and today we’re giving you another peek at what’s in store for us when we arrive in Milan.
Living Divani will showcase new pieces of furniture from designers Mario Ferrarini and Studio Juju at the Salone del Mobile. Contemporist reports that the Kalè stools/tables designed by Ferrarini. The idea behind the Kalè stools/tables is to “bring to mind celestial worlds through a space-age habitat made of purified forms developed around the simple geometry of a circle,” Domus reports.
The second new collection Living Divani will present is Rabbit and Tortoise, which is the collection created in collaboration with Timo Wong and Priscilla Lui from Studio Juju. This collection consists of seven low occasional tables that evoke memories of childhood cartoons. Domus includes that they are “each a different shape and size, to be arranged as so to create flow within their space, resulting in ‘an experimental experience shared by people who sit around the curves and use them in their everyday life.’”
We can’t wait to see these new designs up close at the Salone del Mobile in just a few weeks. Be sure to stay tuned to our blog, as we’ll bring back lots of photos of the great new designs we’ll be viewing in Milan!
