Foscarini is well-known in the lighting industry for producing some of the most interesting fixtures that have ever come to be. Many of Foscarini’s fabulous pieces have artistic qualities, making them look more like a sculpture or a fine work of art than a light.

One such piece is Foscarini’s Big Bang Chandelier, which was recently featured on the design site Houzz. Houzz describes the piece as something reminiscent of ancient origami, calling it “more of a mobile, composed of intersecting planes.” This piece uses natural light in addition to the light it produces to create different shades, highlights, and shadows on the fixture, as well as in how it casts light out into the room it has been placed in.

Below are a few of the interiors featured on Houzz in which the Big Bang Chandelier has been placed.

Foscarini light fixtures can be sourced in Boston through Casa Design. Please contact our showroom for more information.
